A Novel LRRC15-targeted RadioTheranostic Modality for Osteosarcoma
My research is focused on developing vehicles targeting novel biomarkers for multimodal molecular imaging strategies, as well as for carriers of therapeutic agents. I select targets based on large biobank studies assessing molecular pathways associated with risk factors related to clinically diagnosed cancers and definitive end-points. Together with my team and collaborators, I have successfully invented, developed and translated multiple radiotheranostic and immunotherapeutic technologies. Witnessing a close friend fight a losing battle against osteosarcoma motivates my pursuit of finding pharmacological strategies that will lead to a cure of this disease.
